So I have just recovered from being sick once again.  At this point its become a normal thing.  Every week or so… slam… sick again.  It is getting better though, I think my resistance is building up.  This time was for only about a day and a half.  I wasn`t feeling too bad, but then something about vomiting during my walk to work clued me into the fact that I was probably a bit under the weather again.  I have traced this time to a glass of tainted lemonade.  We were laying down the concrete floor for a house at work in the blazing sun and the mother came out with a nice cold glass of limonada peligrosa.  It is already somewhat difficult to refuse a genuine gift from the families but is even more difficult when you are suffering from boarderline heat stroke.  While fully aware that I was probably venturing into dangerous territory, I put aside my doubts about the particulate matter and ice cubes (which had a very low chance of being purified water) in the lemodade and drank it down.  Lesson learned.  I`ll be bringing a water bottle to work from now on…

I`m hoping that this is going to be the last time.  We will see.

i am so glad you are not effing around in any nature of this trip… doing everything up to the fullest.

i think you need to start carrying around a little eye dropper vile filled with iodine or more correctly that fancy antibacterial brown stuff they sell to backpackers heading to “questionable water territory” for 15.99 at EMS.

2 drops a glass and you are swell… i swear. consider it another key on your key chain.

best part: it works retroactively to give you full ice melting coverage, so even as the little pathogens release themselves from their frozen state iodine tainted water slams them dead.

ok. sales pitch over.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD RETHINK HOW TO APPROACH THIS ISSUE..UNLESS YOU JUST WANNA BE A TOURIST, YOU BETTER EXPOSED YOURSELF MORE ON THIS KINDA SITUATION IF YOU R CONSIDERING LIVING DOWN THERE LONGER…SO YOUR BODY GETS IMMUNE ON THAT KINDA STUFFS…IF LOCALS ARE OK ON THAT, I BET YOU CAN GET OK ON THAT ISSUE…BRINGING A BOTTLE OF WATER MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST SOLUTION I BELIEVE…HEY, AT THE END YOU GUYS ARE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT THE DISEASE DOWN THERE WIPING OUT WHOLE POPULATION…THEY ARE THE WEAK, DISEASE FREE, SANITARY ONE AND YOU GUYS ARE THE DIRTY, DISEASE CARRYING, UNSANITARY EUROPEANS….HAHAHA~~~

Yeah, by the way if you’re doing construction in hot weather you need to be drinking at least a gallon of water during your work day to avoid “borderline heat stroke.” When I worked construction, some days it was like a gallon and a half.
